Our product and Service:
We manufacturer Tibetan Nepalese rugs 60,
80, 100 and 120 knots per square inch.in wool and silk,
hemp and banana fiber yarn. The pile could be cut pile,
raised pile, closed loop. In addition to our own line, we

Shangri-La Rugs have been in business for then 15 years.
We are based in Berkeley and Kathmandu.
Our California office serves as distribution
and support center for Dealers and Designers and entrepreneurs.
Our manufacturing facility is in Kathamandu. All production
takes place within our own complex to ensure quality and
to protect original designs.
All aspects of production adhere to international
environmental, cultural and labor standards. We neither
use nor encourage child labor in any phase of production.
Production Capacity:
We are now producing 12, 000 square feet of rugs a
month. Our current infrastructure can accommodate double
that volume. We are able to drawn on our pool of experienced
weavers to meet increased demand.

Every dollar you give will go far:
- $75 can pay the annual school expenses of a child living in a village.
- $100 rescues a little girl from bonded servitude and puts her in school for a year. $350 saves a girl from servitude and supports her education through 10th grade, the Nepali equivalent of graduating from high school.
- $340 covers the cost of restoring the health of a severely malnourished child and educating the mother in proper nutrition.
- $675 puts a bright young adult in college for a year.
- It is possible to sponsor a child in boarding school or at J and K Houses, or a young adult in college. Sponsors receive letters from the child, photographs, and update letters from NYOF staff. Please contact us for more details.
